My 2nd grade teacher was the reason that I became a teacher. She made her classroom a safe, loving environment which made me feel welcomed that year that I changed schools. I model my classroom after my experience in her class.

This will be my 22nd year in education. I have taught 3rd, 4th, 7th, and 8th grade. This is my 3rd year teaching 4th grade at IES, and I would not want to be anywhere else. My husband and I have been married for 35 years and have two grown married children. I enjoy running, playing the piano, and hiking. 

I am very excited about the upcoming school year and look forward to helping your students grow. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your student's educational experience.
