A message from Dr. Templeton

Ingram ISD parents and families,

As many of you know, we've seen a rise in student threats against our campuses here at Ingram ISD. This is an alarming development, but it's happening nationwide.

These threats present significant consequences to the children who make them but also hurt our staff, students and community. The effects are troubling.

We strongly encourage you to engage in open and honest conversations with your children about the words they use and their emotions. Let them know that there are always avenues for help.

Coming on Wednesday, Oct. 16, the Federal Bureau of Investigation will be at Ingram Tom Moore High School cafeteria to discuss these issues and the severe consequences of making threats of violence. We recommend attending this free event with your children so they can hear directly from authorities about these consequences.

Please follow the links and QR codes to RSVP for this event. It's important to understand the consequences.

More importantly, I can assure you that the safety and well-being of our students are the top priority for everyone in the Ingram Independent School District.
